What Cobbleverse is
A Pokémon adventure built on Cobblemon for Fabric 1.21.1: all 1,025 Pokémon, mega evolutions, gyms and badges, custom structures and music.
Best for: Friends who want to catch and battle together rather than build machines.

How much RAM a Cobbleverse server needs
LUMYVERSE states on CurseForge that the pack needs at least 4 GB and recommends 6 GB or more for multiplayer. Groups on Alpenglow run it between 4 and 12 GB.
You can change the RAM at any time in the panel. If the console shows the server running out of memory or tick times climbing, go one step up. More on sizing in how much RAM a Minecraft server needs.
What a Cobbleverse server costs
One credit is one hour of 1 GB RAM, so a 6 GB server uses 6 credits an hour. A credit costs one cent at the base price and about 0.77 cents in the largest pack. Hours while nobody is online cost nothing, because the server sleeps.
A flat monthly plan with 6 GB costs the same whether you play 13 hours or 300. Pay-per-hour wins until a server runs more than roughly eight hours every day. The full comparison is in the Minecraft server cost guide.

- 2Click New Server and search for the packType "COBBLEVERSE" in the modpack search. The right loader, Fabric, and Minecraft 1.21.1 are set for you.
- 3Set the RAMMove the slider to 6 GB. You can change it later.
- 4Start the serverLUMYVERSE publishes no separate server pack. Alpenglow builds the server from the pack itself and leaves out the mods that only belong on a player's computer.
- 5Share the addressEvery server gets its own address. When a friend joins, a sleeping server wakes up on its own; the first join attempt times out while it starts, so reconnect once it is up.
Good to know
- Catching more Pokémon loads more entities. If the server starts to stutter with many players, go up to 8 GB.
If the pack crashes on start, the server console explains the cause in plain language. The most common reasons for modded packs are too little RAM and a mod that only belongs on the client. The free crash log analyzer reads any log, and our guide on why modpack servers keep crashing covers the rest.

Common questions
How much RAM does a Cobbleverse server need?
The pack's authors recommend at least 4 GB and 6 GB or more for multiplayer. 6 GB is the right start for a group of friends, and 8 GB gives room once many Pokémon are out in the world at once.
How much does a Cobbleverse server cost on Alpenglow?
At 6 GB the server uses 6 credits an hour, 6 cents at the base price. Three evenings a week of about three hours each, roughly 39 hours a month, come to about €2.30, or about €1.80 with the largest credit pack. While nobody is online it sleeps and costs nothing.
Cobbleverse has no server pack. Does it still work?
Yes. When a pack has no server pack, Alpenglow installs the pack and removes the mods that only run on the client, such as shaders and menu mods. The server then starts with everything the game world needs.
