All the Mods 10: To the Sky Server Hosting

What ATM10 Sky is
The skyblock edition of All the Mods 10 on NeoForge 1.21.1: start with one tree in the void and fill it with the pack's technology and magic. There is no separate server pack; on Alpenglow you do not need one, the server is built from the pack itself.
Best for: Groups that want the ATM10 mod list with a skyblock progression and a shared island.

How much RAM an ATM10 Sky server needs
ATMTeam recommends allocating at least 6 to 8 GB on CurseForge. Skyblock worlds generate far less terrain than the full ATM10, so 8 GB covers a group where ATM10 needs 10.
You can change the RAM at any time in the panel. If the console shows the server running out of memory or tick times climbing, go one step up. More on sizing in how much RAM a Minecraft server needs.
What an ATM10 Sky server costs
One credit is one hour of 1 GB RAM, so a 8 GB server uses 8 credits an hour. A credit costs one cent at the base price and about 0.77 cents in the largest pack. Hours while nobody is online cost nothing, because the server sleeps.
A flat monthly plan with 8 GB costs the same whether you play 13 hours or 300. Pay-per-hour wins until a server runs more than roughly eight hours every day. The full comparison is in the Minecraft server cost guide.
How to start an ATM10 Sky server on Alpenglow
- 1Create an accountEmail and password, or sign in with Google. No card. You start with 50 free credits.
- 2Click New Server and search for the packType "All the Mods 10: To the Sky" in the modpack search. The right loader, NeoForge, and Minecraft 1.21.1 are set for you.
- 3Set the RAMMove the slider to 8 GB. You can change it later.
- 4Start the serverSkyblock means almost no terrain generation, so the first start is faster than on All the Mods 10. Loading the mods still takes a couple of minutes.
- 5Share the addressEvery server gets its own address. When a friend joins, a sleeping server wakes up on its own; the first join attempt times out while it starts, so reconnect once it is up.
Good to know
- ATMTeam publishes no separate server pack for the Sky edition. Alpenglow builds the server from the pack and leaves out client-only mods.
- A shared island fills with machines over time. If tick times climb after a few weeks, go to 10 GB.
If the pack crashes on start, the server console explains the cause in plain language. The most common reasons for modded packs are too little RAM and a mod that only belongs on the client. The free crash log analyzer reads any log, and our guide on why modpack servers keep crashing covers the rest.

Common questions
How much RAM does an ATM10 To the Sky server need?
8 GB for a group of friends. ATMTeam recommends at least 6 to 8 GB, and the skyblock world needs less than the full ATM10, which we start at 10 GB. 6 GB works for two or three players, 10 GB for larger groups or busy islands.
How much does an ATM10 Sky server cost on Alpenglow?
At 8 GB the server uses 8 credits an hour, 8 cents at the base price. Three evenings a week of about three hours each, roughly 39 hours a month, come to about €3.10, or about €2.40 with the largest credit pack. The server sleeps and costs nothing while nobody plays.
ATM10 or ATM10 To the Sky for a server?
Same mods, different world. To the Sky starts on one tree over the void and progresses through skyblock-style automation; the full ATM10 has a normal world with exploration. Sky is lighter on the server and easier to run at 8 GB; the full pack wants 10 GB.
